Shift Pattern Five days per week, varied pattern, 40 hours per week

Main Duties & Responsibilities
Your role is to deliver cleaning services to clients’ facilities on and around the site, both indoors and outdoors, to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean floors across the shopping centre areas, including:
- Toilets, management areas, and back-of-the-house services
- Lifts and escalators
- Jet-washing for external/surfaces
- Maintenance of indoor/outdoor spaces (dusting, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, litter collection, clearing large debris, glass cleaning, stainless-steel polishing)
- Conduct cleanliness checks on external and internal environments including service yards and car parks
- Provide assistance where possible as a helpful point of contact for customers
- Identify and report health and safety concerns to management without delay
- Ensure compliance with site-specific standards, maintenance checks, and reporting protocols
- Maintain a safe, clean and welcoming environment for clients, tenants, and visitors
- Act as an excellent representative of ABM’s brand reputation

Required Skills & Experience
- Previous cleaning experience in similar environments (retail preferred)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently whilst also taking initiative, organising, and prioritising multiple tasks efficiently
- Capable team player and confident working collaboratively
- Approachable, courteous demeanour in customer-facing situations
- Precision-oriented with an eye for detail in a cleaning role
- Confident in adapting to varied demands and requests whilst maintaining overall duties
Desirable Skills and Experience
- Knowledge of COSHH and related chemical use/security protocols
- Valid licence “B” driving category endorsement helpful
- Operational proficiency with:
- Compactor/baler machinery
- Floor cleaning or cleaning maintenance equipment
