Role Responsibilities
Your primary duty is to maintain outstanding cleanliness standards across all areas, enhancing the customer experience. Wetherspoon pubs open early and close late, so we provide great shift flexibility:
- Mornings, evenings, weekends, and late finishes
- 10 hours per week (typical shift pattern shown below)
Daily Tasks & Duties:
- Clean all customer areas, toilets, bar, kitchen, staff spaces, and outside spaces
- Complete daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks (following SOPs)
- Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely
- Stock up supplies – notify managers when restocking is needed
- Report maintenance/pest issues to on-duty staff
- Engage positively with customers (greetings, thank-yous, goodbyes)
- Attend induction and refresher training, contributing to continuous improvement
