Cleaner – Warehouse Cover Role (July & August) – Crawley
Location: Crawley – RH10 postcode area Hours:
- Cover role
- 11 July (2pm–9pm)
- 14, 15 & 16 July (2pm–9pm)
- 27, 28 & 29 July (2pm–9pm)
- Weekly shifts: 3–10 August (2pm–9pm)
- Additional ad-hoc shifts: 25–26 July, 1–2, 8–9 & 15–16 August (2pm–9pm)
Pay Rate: £12.88 per hour (weekly pay) Required before start: Completed DBS check, safety footwear, and mandatory training day (before 11 July).
About the Role
Thorn Baker FM are seeking a reliable and experienced cleaner to join their client’s team for warehouse cleaning shifts in Crawley. This is a temporary/cover role covering July and August.

Key Responsibilities:
- Warehouse cleaning:
- Sweeping, mopping floors
- Emptying waste bins
- Operating floor machines to maintain cleanliness
- Facility/office cleaning:
- Cleaning toilets, staff rooms and warehouse back-of-store areas
- General building maintenance:
- Ensuring communal and staff areas remain tidy

Requirements
- Experience: Prior cleaning experience (e.g., warehouse cleaner, janitor, commercial cleaner or domestic roles)
- Qualifications:
- Must provide safety footwear and complete DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check
- Attend a mandatory training day before shifts begin
