Cleaner
Cleaner – Store Team Member (Fixed-Term Contract)
💵 Compensation: £14.80–£14.90 per hour 25-hour contract 30–35 days holiday (pro rata) 10% in-store discount Pension scheme

As a Cleaner at Lidl, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering the best in-store experience for our customers. From maintaining a spotless store to upholding hygiene standards, every detail matters. What You’ll Do
Play an essential role in keeping our store immaculate and welcoming:
- Thoroughly maintain store hygiene and appearance
- Keep trolley bays, car parks, and outdoor spaces spotless for a stronger first impression
- Operate industrial cleaning equipment efficiently
- Clean high-traffic areas, including welfare spaces, toilets, and waste/recycling areas
- Perform minor maintenance tasks as needed
- Uphold health, safety, and hygiene standards with diligence and proactivity
- Support the team by ensuring your store fulfils its cleanliness promises
What You’ll Need
- Experience in cleaning or maintenance (preferred but not mandatory)
- Attention to detail and a hands-on approach – spotting even the smallest missed spot is crucial!
- Passion for excellence – prioritising your team and store above all
- Independence and drive – ability to take responsibility and complete tasks to the highest standard
