Job Description
About the Role
We’re seeking a reliable, energetic, and hardworking Hospitality Venue Cleaner with a keen eye for detail to join our team at Cato, London.
As a Venue Cleaner, you’ll play an essential role in maintaining our high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the venue. You’ll ensure all guest areas, facilities, and back-of-house spaces are spotless, tidy, and welcoming — helping to create the best possible experience for our guests and team alike.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain all front and back-of-house areas, including bar, restaurant, toilets, and communal spaces
- Carry out thorough dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising of surfaces
- Empty bins and handle waste disposal appropriately
- Restock cleaning and hygiene supplies when needed
- Report any maintenance or repair issues promptly
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times
- Work independently and efficiently to complete all tasks within the allocated time

About You
- Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience essential
- A strong work ethic and excellent attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Positive attitude and pride in maintaining high standards
- Flexible to provide additional cover during holidays when needed

Hours of Work
Wed-Sun Mornings (approximately 2 hours per shift)
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract
