Cleaning Team Coordinator – Defence Sector (Full Time, 37.5 hrs/week)
Missional Role: Join our cleaning and facilities teams supporting Defence, Government, and Energy sectors through Compass Group UK & Ireland (ESS).
About the Role
Maintain environments that keep military, high-profile police, secure government sites, and energy facilities safe, hygienic and exceptional for customers.
- Position: Full-time Cleaner
- Contract hours: 37.5 hrs/week (variable shifts)
- Sector: Defence, Energy & Secure Environments
Key Responsibilities
You’ll deliver high-standard cleaning while helping us uphold our commitment to brilliant service experiences. Core duties include:
- Supporting our cleaning & facilities teams to sustain safe, hygienic environments for Defence clients & customers
- Thorough cleaning of surfaces, floors, windows & touchpoints—dusting, sweeping, polishing, mopping & vacuuming—to a consistent high standard
- Meticulous attention to sanitisation, ensuring every work area meets our strict hygiene protocols
- Rapid spill response and efficient spillage clean-up
- Regular bin emptying & waste disposal
- Restocking supplies and monitoring cleaning materials
