You’ll be responsible for maintaining the highest hygiene standards across all areas of The Iron Duke, ensuring an exceptional customer experience through relentless cleanliness.

Our pubs operate long hours, from early mornings to late nights, giving you the flexibility to choose shifts that suit you, including:

  • Mornings
  • Evenings
  • Weekends
  • Late finishes

Key Responsibilities

  • Daily/weekly/monthly cleaning in all areas:
    • Customer zones: Lounges, dining areas
    • Restrooms (toilets)
    • Bar/kitchen
    • Staff areas
    • Outdoor spaces
  • Follow standard operating procedures for efficiency and quality
  • Use cleaning chemicals/equipment safely and install nuova
  • Track inventory of supplies and report low stocks to management
  • Report maintenance/pest-issue concerns to the on-duty supervisor
  • Greet guests politely, offering thanks and goodbye to enhance service
  • Complete required training (induction, role-specific, ongoing refreshers) and contribute to continuous improvement

Hours & Current Shift Schedule

Contract Type: Variable hours (part-time equivalent: ~8 hours/week?*)

  • Weekdays (Mon–Fri): 6:00–8:00am
  • Weekends (Sat–Sun): 6:00–8:00am (Note: Additional shifts may open by July 5th; apply now, expectations may change.)
