Cleaner
Cleaner – Seaton Court, Plymouth
About the Role
Working Hours:
- based at Seaton Court, Plymouth
- 16:00 – 19:00, Monday to Friday
- occasional overtime available prior to shift start
As a Cleaner, you will maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for clients, colleagues, and visitors across OCS sites. Delivering high standards of cleaning and hygiene in alignment with health & safety requirements and company values is critical.
Key Responsibilities
Your role will include (but is not limited to):
- Carry out general cleaning duties including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, surface wiping, and waste disposal, in line with site specifications
- Clean welfare areas, offices, corridors, washrooms, and designated spaces to agreed standards
- Replenish cleaning consumables (e.g., toilet paper, hand towels, soap) as needed
- Adhere strictly to health & safety, COSHH, and cleaning procedures
- Operate cleaning equipment/materials safely and effectively
- Report maintenance issues, damages, or hazards to the relevant supervisor
- Work efficiently to meet assigned deadlines
- Maintain a professional and courteous attitude when engaging with customers, clients, and colleagues
- Support site-specific cleaning tasks as directed by your manager

Requirements
Essential Criteria:
✔ Right to work in the UK and willingness to comply with a DBS check ✔ Previous cleaning experience (commercial/public sector preferred, but not essential) ✔ Understanding of cleaning methods, equipment, and materials ✔ Familiarity with health & safety/hygiene standards ✔ Ability to work independently and collaboratively ✔ Prides themselves on attention to detail and high standards ✔ Reliable, punctual, and flexible approach
Desirable:
✔ Experience in Facilities Management (FM) or contracted cleaning services ✔ Knowledge of COSHH or safe chemical usage (training provided if needed)
