Salary: £12.91 per hour

The Role

As a Cleaner, your core responsibility is to maintain excellent cleanliness standards across all pub areas to enhance the customer experience.

Our pub operates early to late, offering shift flexibility including: mornings, evenings, weekends, and late finishes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for cleaning all spaces thoroughly, including:
    • Customer areas
    • Toilets
    • Bar
    • Kitchen
    • Staff spaces
    • Outside areas (e.g., patios)
  • Follow daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules
  • Use cleaning chemicals and equipment correctly
  • Monitor supply stockpile and notify managers when restocking is required
  • Report maintenance issues and pest concerns to the manager on duty
  • Customer interaction: Friendly, polite service (e.g., greeting, saying thank you/goodbye)
  • Complete induction, role-specific, and refresher training Share feedback for continuous improvement
