The Role
As a Cleaner, your core responsibility is to maintain excellent cleanliness standards across all pub areas to enhance the customer experience.
Our pub operates early to late, offering shift flexibility including: mornings, evenings, weekends, and late finishes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for cleaning all spaces thoroughly, including:
- Customer areas
- Toilets
- Bar
- Kitchen
- Staff spaces
- Outside areas (e.g., patios)
- Follow daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules
- Use cleaning chemicals and equipment correctly
- Monitor supply stockpile and notify managers when restocking is required
- Report maintenance issues and pest concerns to the manager on duty
- Customer interaction: Friendly, polite service (e.g., greeting, saying thank you/goodbye)
- Complete induction, role-specific, and refresher training Share feedback for continuous improvement
