- Pro Rata: £9,941.06 - £10,220.37
- Full-Time Equivalent: £24,521.25 - £25,210.25 per annum
Hours: 15 hours per week, 52 weeks per year (Part-Time, Permanent)

About the Role
As a Cleaner, you will uphold high cleanliness and hygiene standards across the College, ensuring a welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. Working during evening shifts (16:30–19:30), your role includes:
- Deep-cleaning classrooms, corridors, offices, and communal areas
- Performing hoovering, dusting, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
- Waste management (emptying bins, proper disposal)
- Restocking supplies (toiletry, cleaning products)
- Adhering to health & safety protocols (PPE use, infection prevention)
Optimisation of your workflow is encouraged—identifying recurring maintenance needs and addressing them without constant supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain impeccable cleanliness and hygiene in all assigned areas
- Provide thorough floor care (vacuuming, dusting, mopping)
- Handle waste disposal efficiently, ensuring bins remain sanitary
- Sanitise surfaces to prevent illness spread
- Stock necessary hygiene supplies (soap, toilet paper, cleaning chemicals)
- Follow proven cleaning procedures for effective results and safety
- Use personal protective equipment (PPE) appropriately
- Escalate any maintenance or safety hazards to management promptly
