About The Role

We are looking for a dedicated and friendly individual to provide a comprehensive cleaning service for our new office. Please note there may be an element of moving and handling involved in the role; as such, you will need to be willing and able to undertake these duties. There may also be lone working involved.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

  • Detailed cleaning of the office, including glass partitions, toilets, showers, and wooden stairs.
  • Dishwasher duties: filling, emptying, and placing clean items in specified locations before colleague arrival.
  • COSHH compliance: ensuring safe storage and use of cleaning chemicals.
  • Stock control: maintaining supplies in toilets, kitchens, and cleaning cupboards.
  • Reporting: hazards and defects when spotted. Cleaning activities on a monthly basis.
  • Maintaining equipment: keeping cleaning tools in good working order and reporting any issues.

Working Hours

Shift pattern: 3.15pm to 8.15pm Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays).

About You

You will be honest, reliable, and friendly, capable of performing cleaning duties, including moving and lifting, and have good communication skills to understand COSHH and other training. Previous knowledge of basic COSHH is highly desirable. You should be proactive and responsible, able to make decisions and use initiative, and be a good fit with our friendly and supportive team.
