About The Role

Pertemps Edinburgh Contracts is seeking a Cleaner for a full-time, temporary position in Port Glasgow, with a pay rate of £12.80 per hour. This 12-week assignment, Monday to Friday from 13:30 to 21:30, involves maintaining high cleanliness standards across office buildings and welfare facilities. Contract: Temporary 12-week assignment (with possible extension)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 13:30 – 21:30

We are currently recruiting for a Temporary Cleaner to join our client's team in Port Glasgow. This role will involve maintaining high standards of cleanliness across office buildings and welfare facilities.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work, has good attention to detail, and can work independently as part of a professional team.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Carrying out general cleaning duties throughout office buildings and welfare facilities.
  • Cleaning communal areas, workspaces, kitchens, toilets, and staff welfare areas.
  • Ensuring all areas are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Replenishing supplies as required.
  • Following health and safety procedures and site cleaning standards.
  • Reporting any issues or maintenance concerns to the appropriate person.
  • Working safely and efficiently within a busy shipyard environment.

About You

You will ideally have:

  • Previous cleaning experience within an office, industrial, commercial, or similar environment.
  • Good attention to detail and a positive approach to work.
  • The ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
  • A reliable and flexible attitude.
  • A commitment to maintaining excellent cleaning standards.
