Location: Ark Alexandra Academy, Hastings, East Sussex
Salary: Ark Outside London Support Scale 1, Pay Point 2 (£24,482) pro rata
Actual salary: £9,889.35
Hours: Part-time – 15 hours per week, between the hours of 3.30pm – 6.30pm, 39 weeks per year plus 5 weeks to be worked in the school holidays (exact timings will be discussed at interview)
Contract: Permanent

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our hard-working team who clean our two campuses. You will have your own dedicated area and will have access to a range of online training for your role.
As part of the cleaning team, you will play a vital role creating a clean, safe and welcoming environment for our students, staff and visitors. Your commitment to high standards of cleanliness will help ensure our school remains a place where everyone can thrive.

As the Ideal Candidate You Will:
- Have experience of cleaning to a high standard, preferably in a school environment
- Pay attention to detail and have a strong commitment to cleanliness and hygiene
- Be available to work between 3.30pm - 6.30pm, Monday to Friday (exact timings will be discussed at interview)
- Be able to take ownership of tasks and complete to a high standard
- Have good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
- Be able to manage a high-volume workload & prioritise accordingly to meet deadlines
- Have the ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Be flexible in covering other team members when required, even if it’s on the other campus
