Our Hagg Farm Outdoor Education Centre (OEC) is nestled in the beautiful Hope Valley, offering a unique setting for schools and groups to engage in outdoor activities.
We are seeking a Cleaner to maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of our premises at Hagg Farm OEC. This role is vital in ensuring our 62-bed residential centre is welcoming and well-presented for our guests. You will work 15 hours per week, typically on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings or early afternoons. This is a Term-Time Only position, perfect for those looking for a flexible work schedule.

- Maintaining all floor areas, internal windows, walls, and furniture in a clean and tidy condition.
- Polishing floors and furniture, and shampooing carpets and upholstery.
- Cleaning kitchen equipment, working surfaces, and storage facilities.
- Ensuring bathrooms and other facilities are hygienic and well-maintained.
- Assisting with the laundering of clothing and bedding.
- Adhering to cleaning schedules and ensuring high standards of quality in all work undertaken.
To Thrive In This Role, You Should Possess
- A general standard of education.
- Knowledge of health and safety practices.
- Experience in cleaning within a domestic or commercial setting.
- Basic understanding of COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) and risk assessments.
