Cleaner (Jubilee Park Campus - Part time)
Domestic Services Cleaner
About the Role/Team
We are looking for energetic, dependable, and hardworking individuals with a keen attention to detail who take pride in their work. If you enjoy cleaning a variety of areas, this opportunity is for you within our team of cleaners at the Jubilee Campus.
Key Responsibilities
General and specialised cleaning duties include but are not limited to:
- Classrooms/meeting rooms
- Various flooring and carpeted areas
- Refuse disposal areas
- Toilets, bathrooms, and changing rooms
- Corridors and stairwells
Service delivery:

Providing both planned and reactive cleaning services

Supporting the local cleaning team for:
- Coverage during holidays and sickness leaves
- Deep cleaning tasks
- Urgent requests or inquiries assigned by your Line Manager

Operating independently or as part of a team, maintaining excellent customer service throughout.
Requirements
While previous cleaning experience in a similar environment is ideal, it is not mandatory. Full training will be provided in all necessary procedures and techniques.
Physical demands: The role may be physically demanding. We provide lifting aids and full training to ensure safety.

Salary & Contract
- £25,353 to £26,379 per annum (pro-rata if working less than full time)
- £13.45/hour (starting salary), with progress to £13.99/hour following annual incremental pay rises.
- 15 hours per week, predominantly Monday to Friday between 6:00–9:00 AM (though flexibility will be required).
The position is offered on a permanent 52-week, rolling contract basis, covering all periods including student holiday times.

Interview & Training
- Informal interview: Expected to take no longer than 20 minutes.
- Induction training: Held monthly on a Monday to Friday schedule at the University Park Campus.
