Cleaner Opportunity at Large NHS Site in Portsmouth
Pinnacle Group is looking to recruit an experienced Cleaner to join our facilities management team based at a large NHS site in Portsmouth.
Our Soft Facilities Management division delivers essential services to homes, schools, universities, and public sector organisations – including housing providers and blue light authorities. We focus on creating clean, safe, and welcoming environments, with a commitment to quality, community impact, and customer care.
Your role will involve cleaning of all areas on this NHS site. You will be mopping, sweeping, and dusting areas such as reception, waiting rooms, surgeries, toilets, etc. You will need to be detail-oriented, physically fit, and capable of working with cleaning equipment, chemicals, and within sensitive environments.
This is a part-time evening position where the hours are 6pm to 8pm, Monday to Friday, 10 hours per week.

Who We’re Looking For

Key Responsibilities Will Include
- Cleaning tasks include damp mopping, washing surfaces, sweeping, vacuuming, and cleaning touchpoints. Cleaning offices and clinical rooms.
- Cleaning toilet facilities and hand basins, replenishing toilet paper, hand soap, and towels.
- Waste management – collection, transportation, and storage of waste for both internal and external areas.
- Ability to work as part of a team and use own initiative.
Key Requirements
- Good knowledge and experience and attention to detail in cleaning services and cleaning equipment. Prefer knowledge of COSHH, Chemicals, and risk assessments.
- Experience of buffer machine/scrubber dryer is an advantage.
- Experience with work to tight schedules.
- Demonstrate enthusiasm and commitment.
