Cleaner Role (Contract Basis) – Slough

ValidCore Group Ltd, a leading UK provider of professional commercial cleaning, staffing support, and business services, is seeking a dedicated On-Site Cleaner based in Slough to help maintain clean, safe, and productive commercial environments.
The role involves ensuring thorough cleaning of various facilities, including offices, kitchens, restrooms, and common areas, adhering to strict hygiene, safety, and quality standards.

- Employment Type: Contract-based
- Scope: Across London, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, and Surrey
Key Responsibilities
The Cleaner will be responsible for:
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness through systematic cleaning tasks, including:
- Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting
- Cleaning restrooms, kitchens, and office surfaces
- Wiping down worktations, desks, and equipment
- Restocking cleaning supplies and consumables
- Waste disposal in compliance with company policies
- Health & safety compliance, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and adherence to infection-control measures
- Reporting any maintenance or safety issues promptly to management
- Following company protocols and site-specific cleaning checklists
- Working efficiently, independently, and on schedule while ensuring professional standards are met

Requirements & Qualifications
To excel in this role, candidates should possess:
Essential Skills
- Previous experience in commercial or domestic cleaning, including knowledge of:
- Cleaning methods, materials, and equipment
- Health and safety procedures (use of chemicals, hygiene standards)
- Diligent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Reliability and time management skills, including working independently and prioritising tasks
- Good communication to interact professionally with supervisors, colleagues, and clients
- Physical capability to:
- Stand for extended periods
- lift light to moderate loads
- handle standard cleaning equipment

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in commercial facilities (offices, retail, hospitality, or healthcare) – not essential
- Familiarity with site-specific protocols or cleaning software (optional)
