Job description:
The Role
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking cleaner who takes pride in their work and understands the importance of maintaining a clean, safe and hygienic environment for young children.
Working 2 hours each evening (Monday to Friday), you will help ensure our nursery is cleaned to a high standard ready for the next day, supporting the health, wellbeing and safety of the children and team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Cleaning nursery rooms, play areas and shared spaces.
- Emptying bins and maintaining tidy learning environments.
- Wiping and disinfecting surfaces, tables, toys, touchpoints and kitchen areas.
- Cleaning toilets, nappy changing areas and replenishing supplies.
- Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors.
- Ensuring cleaning products are stored safely and securely.
- Reporting low stock, maintenance issues or any concerns to management.

What We’re Looking For
- Someone reliable with excellent attention to detail.
- Able to work independently and follow cleaning procedures carefully.
- Previous cleaning experience preferred, ideally in a nursery, school or similar environment.
- A friendly, trustworthy and positive attitude.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene, health and safety.
- Willingness to follow safeguarding and security procedures.
