As a Cleaner here at Lidl, your efforts help create an outstanding in-store experience for customers. From ensuring the store is spotlessly clean to upholding high hygiene standards, you’ll be integral to maintaining our store’s top condition.

You’ll always go above and beyond, eager to roll up your sleeves and execute tasks meticulously.

In return, we offer:

  • A competitive hourly pay rate based on equal opportunity and transparent pay structures
  • An additional £2.00 per hour for work during bank holidays
  • £3.50 per hour for night shifts

Responsibilities

  • Thoroughly maintain the store to keep it in top condition
  • Ensure trolley bays, car parks, and outside spaces remain clean and welcoming
  • Operate industrial cleaning machinery with confidence
  • Cleanand care for the welfare areas, including toilets and waste/recycling sections
  • Carry out minor maintenance tasks as needed
  • Proactively uplift hygiene standards and maintain Health and Safety compliance

Requirements

  • Experience in cleaning or maintenance (beneficial but not essential)
  • Hands-on approach with a keen eye for detail
  • Dedicated passion to do the best job for your store and colleagues
  • Drive and independence to carry out tasks effectively
