- Starts at £13.45/hour (minimum salary point)

About the Role/Team
We are seeking enthusiastic, reliable, and hardworking individuals with a ** keen eye for detail**, a pride in their work, and a genuine enjoyment of cleaning in varied environments. The role involves joining our cleaning team at University Park West, where your responsibilities will include:
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Comprehensive cleaning across multiple areas/spaces within the building, including (but not limited to):
- Classrooms & meeting rooms
- Various flooring types (hard and carpeted areas)
- Toilets & bathrooms
- Changing areas
- Corridors & stairwells
- Refuse disposal
- Providing high-quality general and specialized cleaning services
- Ensuring excellent customer service at all times,
- Operating independently or as part of a collaborative team
- Fulfilling both scheduled and reactive cleaning tasks as assigned
- Supporting the local team with:
- Covering shifts during holidays and sickness leave
- Deep cleaning requirements
- Addressing urgent clean-ups or inquiries
- Performing tasks with minimal supervision, displaying self-reliance and teamwork

Note on Experience: Previous cleaning experience in a similar environment is desirable but not mandatory—full training will be provided.
Physical Demands & Support: This role has a physically demanding nature; however, lifting aids will be provided, and extensive training is part of the onboarding process.

Hours of Work

Flexible scheduling (5 days out of 7, primarily Monday to Friday)

Works hours: Primary shift is 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM (minor adjustments may be required)

Contractual basis: 52-week rotating shift (including university holidays and student vacations), with options to apply permanently.
