Role Overview
Cleaning operative required for City Hall, London E1 6XZ.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Experienced cleaning operatives with exceptional attention to detail are required for maintaining cleanliness in an office environment.
- Must wear provided ABM uniform at all times
- Cleaning duties as directed by the Supervisor:
- Office and workstation cleaning (including IT equipment)
- Hard floor cleaning with a buffing machine/scrubber dryer (training provided)
- Vacuuming, dusting, and waste removal
- Kitchen, vending machines and equipment cleaning
- Washroom/toilets cleaning
- Machine carpet cleaning
- Touchpoint cleaning (including incidentals like crockery)

Person Specification
- Previous cleaning experience preferred
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to maintain a smart cleaning appearance
- Ability to work both as part of a team and independently
- Advantageous but not essential: experience with buffing machines
- Proactive attitude with a "can-do" mindset
