Based in Dunfermline, the company serves clients across West Fife, South Queensferry, Ratho, and Edinburgh North. Services range from one-off spring cleans to regular weekly, fortnightly, or monthly visits, tailored to individual needs and budgets. Role Description
The Cleaning Assistant role is a part-time, on-site position based in Dunfermline. The Cleaning Assistant will carry out domestic cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, bathroom and kitchen cleaning, and general tidying in clients’ homes.

- Follow set cleaning checklists
- Use cleaning products safely
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and presentation
- Travel to client locations within the service area
- Manage secure key access responsibly
- Respect client privacy and property
- Communicate clearly with clients and the team
- Report any issues promptly
- Contribute to a consistent, reliable service
Qualifications
- Strong practical cleaning abilities, including experience with domestic cleaning tasks, safe use of cleaning products, and attention to detail
- Good time management and organizational skills to follow schedules, meet agreed timings, and work efficiently without constant supervision
- Reliable, trustworthy, and professional attitude, including respect for client homes, confidentiality, and responsible handling of keys
- Effective communication skills to interact courteously with clients and colleagues and to report maintenance or safety concerns
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Previous experience in cleaning or housekeeping in domestic or commercial settings is beneficial
- Flexibility to work varied part-time hours and travel within the local service area
- A valid driver’s license and access to transport are advantageous but not essential
