Cleaning Assistant (Part-Time) St Mary's Episcopal Primary School, Dunblane Facilities Management Team, Stirling Council

The Role

An opportunity exists within Stirling Council’s Facilities Management Team for a cleaning assistant at St Mary’s Episcopal Primary School, Dunblane. The role provides 7.5 hours per week of professional cleaning service over a 39-week period, paid under Stirling Council Grade 1.

This post entails delivering a high-quality cleaning service across the school premises, maintaining standards of hygiene and safety. Duties include:

  • Operate professional cleaning machinery such as electric buffing machines, scrubber dryers, and vacuum cleaners.
  • Lift and move heavy items where required.
  • Clean surfaces to head height independently.
  • Maintain a professional standard of cleanliness in all areas of the school.

Requirements & Qualifications

✅ Essential:

  • Reliable transport to attend the school site.
  • Ability to work solitarily during your shift.
  • Willingness to adhere to Stirling Council’s uniform requirements (providing protective clothing/training if needed).
  • MVB/PVG Scheduled Classification clearance (must be verified to progress further).
