The Role
An opportunity exists within Stirling Council’s Facilities Management Team for a cleaning assistant at St Mary’s Episcopal Primary School, Dunblane. The role provides 7.5 hours per week of professional cleaning service over a 39-week period, paid under Stirling Council Grade 1.
This post entails delivering a high-quality cleaning service across the school premises, maintaining standards of hygiene and safety. Duties include:
- Operate professional cleaning machinery such as electric buffing machines, scrubber dryers, and vacuum cleaners.
- Lift and move heavy items where required.
- Clean surfaces to head height independently.
- Maintain a professional standard of cleanliness in all areas of the school.
Requirements & Qualifications
✅ Essential:
- Reliable transport to attend the school site.
- Ability to work solitarily during your shift.
- Willingness to adhere to Stirling Council’s uniform requirements (providing protective clothing/training if needed).
- MVB/PVG Scheduled Classification clearance (must be verified to progress further).
