Job Description
A new opportunity for a Cleaning Assistant to work within Corporate Mobile Cleaning Task Team.
The post will involve providing a 30 hours per week professional cleaning service on a 52.2 week basis, working Monday to Friday between the hours of 3pm to 9pm and paid at Stirling Council Grade 3.
You will work as part of a Corporate Cleaning Task Team to support corporate building locations and libraries throughout the Stirling Council area where back-fill cleaning services are required due to absence or cleaning staff require additional support to assist in deep cleans of buildings.
Applicants should be capable of lifting heavy items, using cleaning machinery including electric buffing machines, scrubber dryers and vacuum cleaners. Be able to clean surfaces to head height and prepared to work alone including driving to areas anywhere in the Council area during the hours of darkness and in inclement weather.

Personal protective equipment, tools, transport and training will be provided.
Applicants will also require a basic working knowledge of IT and be willing to undertake training to allow them to utilise Stirling Council online training and human resources IT applications.
A current full driver’s licence is essential for this post.
