Cleaning Colleague – Part-Time (Permanent) | Malton
About the Role
Our stores operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, offering a wide range of shift patterns. If you’re looking for flexible working to fit your lifestyle, this could be the perfect role for you.
We’ll work with you on your schedule, but this role requires late and weekend shifts, meaning flexibility in your work pattern is necessary.
Cleaning Colleagues are key to our stores—where we prioritise customers with excellent service, welcoming environments, and ‘extra-special’ products. Together, we maintain clean, well-maintained stores to ensure every shopping experience is outstanding.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Completing daily cleaning tasks, from floors and stockrooms to customer-facing areas inside and outside.
- Working collaboratively with the entire store team to uphold highest cleaning standards.
- Assisting where needed—whether intensive end-of-shift clean-ups or carrying out stock rotation.
We’ll provide full training, including how to operate cleaning machinery, so you start with confidence.
About You
- Naturally friendly and eager to get stuck in, working as part of a team.
- Enthusiastic about learning across different departments.
- Customer-focused, ensuring a clean store reflects the best possible shopping experience.
- A strong communicator, able to handle customer queries or sudden requests efficiently.

Requirements
- No formal qualifications are required, but a willing attitude to learn is a must.
- Reliability and commitment to meet shift requirements are essential.
- Basic manual handling and cleaning experience is beneficial (not mandatory).

- Working Hours: 12 hours/week (flexible shifts, including evenings & weekends)
