Facilities Operator – Manufacturing Area
About The Role
Days of working:
- Monday to Thursday: 09:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- Friday: 09:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Main Responsibilities
Job Operational Responsibilities
- Arrive at the work area early.
- Participate in daily briefings at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Complete daily tasks assigned to your plotting area.
- Perform periodic work as directed by the Supervisor.
- Document completed areas on relevant checklists.
- Attend scheduled training provided by senior management.
- Wear appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as required.
- Adhere to all company and client work rules.
- Report workplace obstacles to a superior.
- Immediately inform a superior of damage to client buildings.
- Maintain positive colleague, supervisor, and client relationships.
- Follow all instructions from superiors.
- Comply with QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment) regulations.

Communication and Collaboration
- Attend shift meetings led by the OCS Supervisor.
- Coordinate with your OCS Supervisor to minimize cleaning schedule deviations.
- Propose improvements to processes.
- Carry out reasonable requests from your OCS Supervisor.
- Provide detailed reports of any workplace issues.
Quality and Efficiency
- Train team members as needed.
- Monitor and minimise waste in the manufacturing area.
- Meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) during all cleaning shifts.
Health and Safety Compliance
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, including risk assessments, PPE, and manual handling guidelines.
- Follow COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) guidelines for chemicals and cleaning agents.
- Report health and safety concerns promptly.
- Complete mandatory H&S training courses.
