Location: Teesside / Redcar
Pay: £18.00 per hour
Hours: 8:00am – 6:00pm (9.5 paid hours per shift)
Employment: Direct with Munnelly Support Services
Munnelly Support Services is seeking an experienced Cleaning Manager to oversee the cleaning operation on a major construction project in the Teesside / Redcar area. This is an excellent long-term opportunity for someone with previous experience managing or supervising cleaning teams, ideally within a commercial, industrial, or construction environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise, support, and motivate the site cleaning team
- Allocate daily cleaning duties and monitor completed work
- Maintain consistently high cleaning standards across the site
- Organise staff cover and assist with cleaning rotas
- Carry out regular inspections and resolve any issues promptly
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate the ordering of cleaning supplies
- Liaise with site management and other stakeholders regarding cleaning requirements
- Maintain basic records relating to staffing, supplies, and cleaning activities
- Ensure all cleaning activities are completed safely and in line with site procedures
- Provide hands-on support with cleaning duties when required

About You
- Previous experience supervising or managing cleaning staff
- Experience within commercial, industrial, or construction-site cleaning is desirable
- Strong organisational, communication, and people management skills
- Confident managing workloads and resolving day-to-day operational issues
- Professional, reliable, and proactive approach
