About the Role

Join our One Great Team at Haven as a Cleaning Services Operations Assistant, playing a vital role in ensuring our guests experience spotless, welcoming spaces during their next adventure!

You’ll be at the core of our Cleaning Services Team, supporting every aspect of daily operations—from planning and team coordination to stock management, recruitment, training, budget control, and maintaining high safety and cleanliness standards. Whether balancing hands-on tasks like grand rounds or desktop admin, this role guarantees a dynamic and varied work experience.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Cleaning Services Team Manager in planning, coordination, and day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient department performance.
  • Assist with stock management, rota scheduling, recruitment, training, and team development.
  • Monitor budget adherence, conduct safety compliance checks, and ensure all legislative requirements are met.
  • Oversee day-to-day cleaning tasks, address guest feedback, and implement continuous improvements to maintain hygiene, safety, and guest satisfaction.
  • Balance hands-on operational work with administrative duties, guaranteeing seamless, well-organised daily operations.

Requirements

  • Experience: Preferred in roles such as Coordinator, Assistant, or Administrator within cleaning/facilities (though not essential).
  • Organisational skills: Track record of planning and organising work for large teams.
  • Multitasking: Comfortable managing high-volume, customer-focused tasks.
  • Skills: Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
