Purpose of the Role
Responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment in assigned areas. This role involves routine cleaning tasks, following health and safety standards, and ensuring facilities are presentable at all times.
Key Responsibilities
(May vary from time to time depending on business needs)
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors.
- Dust and wipe down surfaces, furniture, and fixtures.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and common areas.
- Empty bins and dispose of waste properly.
- Refill supplies such as soap, toilet paper, and paper towels.
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards to management.
- Follow cleaning schedules and checklists.
- Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and correctly.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
- Presentable appearance and professional attitude.
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
- Comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor areas as needed.
- Willingness to undertake additional training relevant to the role.

Desirable
- Experience in a retail cleaning environment.
- Basic understanding of Health & Safety legislation and COSHH regulations.
- Flexible approach to working hours and shift patterns.

- Part-time 15 hours per week
