About The Client
Our client is a trusted healthcare provider committed to delivering high-quality services to the local community. They pride themselves on maintaining a safe, professional, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff, with cleanliness and hygiene playing a vital role in the delivery of their services.
An opportunity has arisen for a Cleaning Operative to join the team, helping to ensure the facility is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation. The successful candidate will support infection control measures and contribute to creating a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for everyone using the site.

Hours Of Work
Contracted to 15 hours per week, working Monday to Friday from 18:30 to 21:30.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Cleaning and sanitising clinical and non-clinical areas in line with site standards
- Cleaning consulting rooms, treatment areas, reception areas, waiting rooms, offices, and staff facilities
- Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and dusting throughout the premises
- Cleaning washrooms and replenishing consumables such as soap, toilet roll, and paper towels
- Emptying bins and disposing of waste in accordance with site procedures
- Following infection control, COSHH, and health and safety regulations at all times
- Ensuring all areas are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and presentation
- Using cleaning equipment and products safely and responsibly
- Reporting any maintenance issues, hazards, or stock shortages to management
- Supporting a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff
Requirements
- Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high cleaning standards
- Reliable, punctual, and professional in approach
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
- Understanding of health and safety procedures within the workplace
- Ability to follow cleaning schedules, instructions, and site-specific procedures
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Flexibility to provide additional cover when required is advantageous
- Right to work in the UK
