About The Role
We are seeking a reliable Facilities Officer to join our team in Solihull. This is a permanent part-time position which would suit someone who has a technical background (mechanical/electrical or HVAC) and is looking for flexible part-time work. Reporting directly to the Head of Hard Services and based on a single site in Solihull.
You will be responsible for completion of basic PPM tasks and minor reactive work. This would include carrying out weekly fire alarm checks, water flushing, temperature monitoring, and emergency lighting tests, etc. There will also be a need to carry out ad hoc duties like decorating, porting, and basic handyman tasks.
You will always be fully trained and supported by Grosvenor and will be required to work 16 hours per week.
This role will be incredibly varied, and it will require a semi-skilled person that is self-motivated and disciplined.
Key Responsibilities
- Weekly and Monthly PPMs
- Minor Reactive tasks
- Ad hoc duties
- Escorting Contractors
- Raising Callouts with subcontractors
- Communicating with Clients and stakeholders
- Working in a safe manner

Requirements
- Electrical/Mechanical/Building Fabric experience desirable
- Computer Literate (MS Word, Excel...)
- Knowledge of or willingness to learn the basics about most of the following:
- Fire alarms
- AHUs
- Hot water heating
- Shutters and doors
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Good communication skills and a proactive approach to teamwork.
