More About Your Role
As a Cleaning Operative, you'll work as part of a wider site team delivering high-quality facilities management services to customers and clients. You'll carry out daily and periodic cleaning tasks across communal areas such as reception, kitchens, bathrooms, corridors and refuse areas, ensuring spaces are clean, safe and welcoming. You'll use a range of cleaning techniques and equipment, including machinery where required, and complete deep cleans to a high standard. You'll also support safe working practices by following COSHH regulations, handling cleaning materials responsibly, and ensuring equipment is stored correctly while minimising disruption to building occupants.
This role is based on site at Equinox House, City Link, Nottingham, NG2 4LA and the working hours are
- Monday to Thursday 7am – 12pm
- Friday 7am – 11am
Essential Criteria
- Experience working in a cleaning or similar environment
- Ability to safely use cleaning equipment, machinery and chemicals
- Knowledge of Health & Safety and COSHH regulations
- Ability to deliver tasks to a high standard within agreed timescales
- Basic IT skills to use systems for training and work-related tasks
More About You
You have experience working in a cleaning or facilities environment and take pride in delivering consistently high standards. You understand how to safely use cleaning equipment and chemicals and are confident following Health & Safety and COSHH guidelines. You can manage your workload efficiently to meet deadlines and are comfortable using basic IT systems to complete required tasks and training. Any relevant qualifications or training such as BICS standards, NVQs, or manual handling are beneficial but not essential.
