Cleaning Operative
Shift Pattern
Varied rota given in advance. 3 days per week, 9am until 5pm.
About The Role
As a Cleaning Operative at OCS, you will play a crucial role in creating safe, clean environments for our customers in their workspaces.
Key Responsibilities
- Tidying up work areas, cleaning floors, and communal spaces.
- Performing hands-on physical tasks including:
- Vacuuming carpeted areas (if present)
- Sweeping and mopping (if required)
- Emptying bins and other cleaning duties
- Potentially undertaking washroom cleaning.
- If working in open, public spaces (day or night), regular customer interaction may be required, including:
- Assisting with customer queries related to cleaning
- Addressing incidents or maintenance issues on-site.
- Ensuring all Health & Safety records are completed accurately and attending mandatory training courses when required.

- Must have the Right to Work in the UK.
- A smartphone is essential to use the Timegate Time and Attendance system for clocking in/out, including:
- Recording cleaning entries via the Timegate app for allocated tasks.
- A background in cleaning is advantageous, although full training will be provided.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to complete tasks thoroughly.
