Cleaning Operative, OASIS COMMUNITY LEARNING
Cleaning Operative - 12 Hours per week - 49.6 weeks per year
£12.52 per hour + Local Government Pension + Uniform

About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaning Operative to join the team at Oasis Academy Bankleaze. The cleaning team supports the wider site team to deliver high-quality, effective cleaning services, ensuring a secure, safe, and hygienic environment for all building users.
Key Responsibilities
- To carry out the cleaning of the premises under the general direction of the Cleaning Supervisor.
- To use cleaning materials appropriately and economically, notifying the Cleaning Supervisor when stocks are low.
- To maintain tools and equipment in good working order, reporting any faults to the Cleaning Supervisor.
- To ensure that cleaners' cupboards/lockers remain clean and tidy.
- To place cleaning signs in any wet or unsafe areas.
- To undertake non-routine cleaning tasks as instructed by the Cleaning Supervisor.
- All cleaners are required to contribute to cleaning tasks during the school holiday period.
- To comply with ALL guidelines, particularly the Health & Safety at Work Policy.
- To attend all essential Health & Safety and Safeguarding courses as determined by school management.
- To perform other duties of a similar level and responsibility as reasonably requested.
- No group photo or image of individuals without permission.
