Working Hours
Monday to Friday, 17:00–20:00 – 15 hours per week
Pay
£12.71 per hour

Reporting to
Operations Manager
Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen at Anchor Group Services, for an experienced cleaner to join the site cleaning team in Killingworth.
The successful candidate will be required to carry out a range of cleaning tasks, safely and professionally, to a high standard. You must be able to demonstrate:
- Good attention to detail
- Communication skills across all levels
- Flexibility to cover additional shifts

The successful candidate will require enhanced DBS clearance prior to starting.
Important Note: If you have worked or lived overseas for a period of more than 3 months in the last 10 years, you will need to provide a police check from that country.
Duties Include
- Cleaning of designated areas, ensuring the agreed cleaning specification is completed, as per the site instructions
- Emptying of bins, ensuring recycled waste is disposed of correctly
- Attending to spillages by making sure they are cleaned up within an efficient timeframe, to prevent accidents and ensure site/staff safety
- Following H&S and COSHH regulations
- Use of site-specific equipment, machinery, and handling chemicals
- Proactive interaction with on-site clients/customers, offering superb customer service
- Carrying out any other reasonable management requests
Requirements
- Understanding of COSHH
- Good attention to detail
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and use initiative
- Reliability and flexibility to cover shifts when required
- Experience demonstrating flexibility, responsibility, and self-sufficiency at work
- Enhanced DBS clearance prior to starting.
