About The Role
As a Cleaning Operative, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment across all Sheffield College sites. You will be responsible for ensuring that all cleaning tasks are carried out efficiently to a high standard, following the college’s Health & Safety procedures. Working as part of a team, you will help ensure that all areas are kept clean, presentable, and safe for students, staff, and visitors.
Please note this role will be shift work with the earliest start time being 5am.
Main Responsibilities
- Cleaning, washing, sweeping, mopping, dusting, polishing, and vacuum cleaning of designated areas to the required standard.
- Emptying litter bins, etc., and removing waste to designated areas and ensuring correct disposal.
- Cleaning of toilets and washrooms to the required standard where allocated.
- Spray cleaning and scrubbing floors.

What We Can Offer You
As the successful candidate, you will be offered a salary of between £25,877 per annum based upon a combination of the skills, knowledge, and experience that you can bring to the role. Please note the salary will be pro rata to reflect the hours worked.
