Salary from £36,513-£41,565 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £44,468 pa inclusive of London allowance
The working hours in this role will be 09.00am to 17.00 hours (Monday to Friday) 35 Hours Per Week which include 1-hours unpaid lunch
The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) is seeking to recruit a Cleaning Services Manager to support the Building Management Team within the Estates Division.
The post holder will play a key operational role in ensuring consistently high standards of cleanliness across the LSE campus and Halls of Residence. Reporting to the Senior Facilities Manager, the Cleaning Services Manager will coordinate day-to-day cleaning operations, supervise both internal and external cleaning teams, and act as deputy in the Senior Facilities Manager’s absence where required. The role is central to supporting the delivery of a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors.

The post holder will contribute to the development and implementation of the operating model for LSE buildings and surrounding grounds. The Estates Division is committed to delivering best practice services across all functional areas, and the Cleaning Manager will support service benchmarking, continuous improvement initiatives, and the development of service standards to help achieve this objective

Good understanding of Facilities Management Experience in supervising and leading cleaning and/or housekeeping teams. Good understanding of cleaning practices, practical knowledge of Health and Safety and Fire Safety & COSHH
