About The Role
Mitie is seeking a proactive and dedicated Cleaning Supervisor to lead our cleaning operations at Clarks Village, a vibrant retail destination in Somerset. This is a key role ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, customer service, and team coordination across the site.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct scheduled routine inspections to maintain cleanliness and hygiene across the site.
- Create and manage daily cleaning schedules for the team, ensuring efficient coverage of all areas.
- Lead and support the daily operations of the cleaning team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Produce accurate reports and documentation related to cleaning standards, incidents, and team performance.
- Patrol mall areas to ensure standards are upheld and respond promptly to any issues.
- Communicate effectively with team members, site management, and external contractors.
- Deliver a high standard of customer service, acting as a visible and approachable presence on site.
- Liaise with contractors and other service providers to coordinate cleaning-related tasks and resolve issues.
What We're Looking For
- Previous supervisory experience in a cleaning or facilities management role.
- Strong leadership and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and team management.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and customer service.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and public holidays.

The ideal candidate for this position will be punctual, maintain high standards of personal hygiene and appearance, and be able to communicate and read basic English. You must have the Right to Work in the UK.
While experience in cleaning is desirable, it is not essential—full training will be provided. A flexible approach to the role is important, as duties may vary day to day.
