About The Role
Hours/Struktur: 3.5 hours daily (excluding Wednesday & Thursday: 3 hours) – Flexible start time available
As a Cleaning Supervisor, you will serve as the primary client/manager liaison on site. Under the guidance of the Site Manager, you will:
- Lead, coordinate, and support a team of cleaners
- Ensure consistent adherence to high cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Oversee training, induction, and health & safety compliance
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the key point of contact for both clients and management
- Lead and delegate cleaning tasks while personally contributing core duties
- Guide new hires through training and onboarding, ensuring record-keeping accuracy
- Demonstrate best-practice compliance via unwavering adherence to safer systems, worksheets, and method statements
- Maintain quality control through regular inspections
- Monitor and efficiently manage inventories of supplies/equipment
- Troubleshoot operational challenges for seamless workflow

Requirements
Minimum Criteria
- Right to work in the UK
- Experience (or transferable skills) in team coordination
- Background in cleaning operations or related roles (or related knowledge/understanding across areas)
- Understanding of COSHH/Health & Safety protocols, with prior experience in similar sites/environments
- Prior experience in training/induction programs for colleagues
Preferred Attributes
- Excellent communication abilities for both client liaison and team leadership
- Proactive/agile, capable of adapting to rapid changes in workload
- Strong work ethic with reliability and punctuality
