Working Hours: Permanent, 35 hours per week, Monday - Friday 12:00 - 19:30
Location: Manchester Magistrates Court, Manchester, M60 1PR

Manchester Magistrates Court handles low level criminal offences and is located in the heart of Manchester with access to great transport links.
We are looking to recruit a Cleaning Supervisor to join our friendly team to provide a high-quality cleaning service. This is a full-time role based at Manchester Magistrates Court working 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities
- Participate in cleaning tasks alongside the team as needed.
- Ensure that all personnel receive comprehensive training in essential protocols, including PPE, COSHH, and Colour Coding.
- Conduct and document monthly Tool Box Talks to maintain ongoing communication and safety standards.
- Adhere strictly to the Health and Safety at Work Act and all emergency protocols.
- Take immediate, appropriate action after any staff accidents, ensuring incident forms are completed and all hazards or "Near Misses" are reported.
- Use the Risk Register to escalate issues and ensure staff are fully aware of reporting procedures and potential risks.
- Maintain high standards by regularly reviewing cleaning cupboards and equipment for cleanliness and security.
- Control the distribution and application of cleaning materials to ensure the correct products are used for every task.
- Audit and monitor the provision and proper use of PPE within the team.

Essential Criteria
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following qualities and experience:
- Professional Experience: A solid background in cleaning is required, along with prior experience in a supervisory capacity within a cleaning setting.
- Core Attributes: We are looking for a reliable and conscientious individual who possesses a sharp attention to detail.
- Operational Skills: The ability to work methodically and manage competing priorities is essential. You should also be proficient in using computers.
- Interpersonal Abilities: Effective communication and strong customer service skills are vital. We value an enthusiastic team member with a flexible approach to their work.
