Role Description
The Cleaning Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Manchester. This position is responsible for overseeing cleaning staff, organizing daily work schedules, and ensuring all areas are maintained to agreed cleanliness and safety standards. The supervisor monitors performance, conducts site inspections, and addresses any issues promptly, including reporting maintenance needs or health and safety concerns.

Day-to-day tasks include:


Get help with your application

- Training new team members
- Managing stock levels of cleaning materials and equipment
- Coordinating with site management or clients regarding service requirements
- Completing basic reports
- Maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures
- Supporting a professional, respectful working environment
Qualifications
- Experience supervising cleaning teams or working in a similar facilities or housekeeping role.
- Knowledge of cleaning methods, use of cleaning equipment, and health and safety practices, including COSHH awareness.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage schedules.
- Effective communication skills for liaising with staff, management, and clients, and providing clear instructions and feedback.
- Ability to work on-site in Manchester, respond flexibly to operational needs, and maintain professional standards at all times.
- Basic IT and reporting skills for completing checklists, records, and incident reports.
- Previous experience in security, facilities management, or service-oriented environments is an advantage.
