Cleaning Supervisor – OCS UK & Ireland
About The Role
Shift Pattern: 5 in 7
We are currently recruiting for a Cleaning Supervisor to support our client’s site.
At OCS, our cleaners play an essential role in providing safe, clean environments in which our customers can thrive in their workspaces. As Supervisor, you will ensure that cleaning staff perform their duties efficiently, maintain high cleanliness standards, and contribute to a safe and hygienic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team management: Supervising a small team, handling rotas, holidays, and performance evaluations. Delivering training to all cleaning operatives and updating records.
- Cleaning operations: Overseeing and assisting with cleaning tasks, including floors, communal areas, stairwells, washrooms, and other ad hoc areas as required.
- Quality assurance: Conducting weekly cleaning audits and escalating any areas of concern.
- Stock and supply management: Ordering, distributing, and updating stock and consumables within the stock management system.
- Customer liaison: Regular communication with customers/clients to assist them and communicate effectively across all levels.

Requirements:
- Must have the Right to Work in the UK.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise efficiently.
- Must consent to undergo background screening as part of the hiring process.
