Location: Grove House
Contract: Cleaning supervisor (Care)
Contracted start time: 11:00-15:00
Contracted Hours: Monday - Friday (20 hours per week)
Some weekend work may be required.
About The Role
The Facilities Management Team at Lancashire County Council are looking to recruit a Cleaning Supervisor who is required to carry out cleaning duties at Grove House.
Lancashire County Council provide vital residential care services for the people of Lancashire. These services provide a safe, secure environment that allows older people as much independence as possible while supporting a range of care needs. The Facilities Management team carry out cleaning at all Residential Care Homes and Day Centres. Keeping these buildings clean is critically important to everyone who use these facilities.

Exacting standards of cleaning are expected, and prior experience is desirable; however full training and ongoing support will be provided.
The role requires you to lead a small team, ensuring all work areas are clean across the site, conducting induction and training for new staff and undertaking internal audits. The role involves some straightforward administrative tasks such as reporting of holidays and sickness and being the first point of contact between both the client and Area Coordinator. Cleaning duties will consist of general cleaning, such as damp wiping, damp mapping, toilet cleaning, decontamination cleans and use of cleaning equipment such as a scrubber drier and carpet cleaner
