Cleaning Supervisor
Cleaning Supervisor – Part-Time (16 Hours/Week) – Healthcare Sector
About the Role
We’re recruiting a dedicated Cleaning Supervisor to oversee and ensure high standards of cleanliness and operational efficiency in a Healthcare setting. The role is part-time (contracted to 16 hours per week), with a flexible shift pattern across evenings to support NHS and private hospitals operated by Compass Group UK&I’s Medirest division.
As Cleaning Supervisor, you’ll support a team, maintain stringent quality standards, and contribute to a positive working environment. You’ll have the opportunity to develop your career with a company that invests in its people, values diversity, and rewards outstanding contributions.
Key Responsibilities
Your role will involve day-to-day oversight in compliance with Medirest’s commitment to excellence. Key tasks may include:

Delivery and stock management:
- Ensuring all deliveries are checked and stored promptly and correctly.
- Ordering required stock to maintain optimal levels.

Team leadership & supervision:
- Supervising a frontline team, fostering a welcoming and supportive atmosphere.
- Meeting with general managers, Porters, Patient Assistants, and kitchen receptionists as necessary.
- Delegating tasks effectively and ensuring team proactiveness.

- Handling weekly bookwork and administrative duties.

What You’ll Bring

✔ Strong communication skills, delivered through exceptional customer service at all times.

- Fri, Sat, Sun: Evenings (particularly popular for this role).
Note: Role is contracted for X weeks per year.
