# Cleaning and Waste Operative
Ministry: Safrole
About the Role
As a Cleaning and Waste Operative, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of cleaning and waste management operations in your area. This role involves:
- Ensuring safe working practices and company procedures are adhered to
- Managing cleaning duties and general housekeeping
- Co-ordinating waste transportation to correct locations across the site
Training will be provided for operating baler machines as and when required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the smooth operation of baler machines (training provided)
- Assist in identifying, rectifying, and reporting operational issues
- Strict adherence to safety protocols and company procedures
- Carry out cleaning duties and general housekeeping of the baler area and wider site
- Co-ordinate and facilitate proper waste disposal and handling across the site

Requirements
Eligibility & Experience
✔ Must hold the right to work in the UK ✔ Preference given to candidates with prior experience operating balers (though training will be provided) ✔ Cleaning experience is beneficial (training still available) ✔ Forklift Truck (FLT) licence is desirable ✔ Past waste handling or transportation experience looked favourably upon ✔ Must have your own transport due to geographically challenging site locations and flexible/dynamic shift patterns
