£28,792 per year
39 hours | Monday–Friday | 06:00–15:00 (early finish at 14:00 every Friday)
Local role. No weekends. Early finishes. Stable employer.
Amey is looking for a Cleaning Working Team Leader to join our on‑site team at HMP Wymott, just outside Leyland. This is a permanent, Monday–Friday role with consistent hours and a supportive team environment.
If you live in Leyland, Preston, Chorley or surrounding areas, this is a great opportunity to step into a stable leadership role close to home.
The Role
- Supervise and support a team of on‑site cleaners
- Lead by example and maintain high cleaning standards
- Carry out audits and follow up on actions
- Manage stock, consumables and equipment
- Work safely and compliantly (H&S, COSHH, RAMS)

We’re Looking For
- Previous cleaning supervisor or team leader experience
- Reliable, organised and confident supporting a team
- Experience on large or busy sites (FM background ideal)
- Comfortable working in a secure prison environment
- IOSH / BICSc desirable, but not essential
