Clerk of Works Our Clerk of Works will be responsible for monitoring work carried out on Compco sites to ensure compliance and quality of projects. Are you looking for your next Clerk of Works role? With a high attention to detail and excellent communication skills, you, as a Clerk of Works will have a pivotal role at Compco Fire Systems. Together, we can redefine what’s possible for the future of the Fire Protection Industry. What you’ll be doing: Carry out regular inspections on construction and Compco sites. Conduct project internal audits. Ensure that all work meets the required quality standards, identifying any issues. Maintain detailed records of all inspections, including photographs, reports and non-compliance issues. Ensure measurements and material usage follow initial plans. Report findings to construction/project managers. Mark up drawings detailing site changes. Monitor site health and safety practices and report any issues to the SHE Manager. Participate in the delivery of staff training.

What you’ll need: Proven experience in inspecting or supervising construction/engineering works. NVQ Level 3/4 or equivalent in mechanical/building services/fire protection (or relevant trade background). Hold a valid CSCS White/Black card or be working towards industry accredited qualification to secure one. Knowledge of quality assurance, inspection techniques and defect management Strong written and verbal communication skills. Highly organized with a strong attention to detail. Driving License. This is role requires the successful candidate to be within commuting distance to our Worcester Office: Cleeve House, Malvern Road, Worcester, WR2 4YX.
