Client Account Manager

Full-time, permanent, office-based, Lincoln, UK

About the Role

Are you passionate about building relationships, solving problems, and working collaboratively with creative people? Optima is looking for a dedicated Account Manager to join our growing team.

This is an exciting opportunity in an ever-evolving environment, where you’ll assist clients with branding, design, websites, digital marketing, and print. No two days will be the same—one day could see you launching a new brand, while the next might involve delivering an exhibition or marketing campaign.

With over 30 years of experience, Optima delivers exceptional work that genuinely makes a difference for clients, ranging from global organisations and charities to local businesses. Our supportive team thrives on collaboration, encouraging innovation, and appreciates a vibrant and diverse workload.

How We Work

At Optima, account management isn’t just about managing doors between clients and projects. It’s about:

  • Deeply understanding our clients’ businesses to frame better questions.
  • Proactively adding value beyond the brief.
  • Bringing the right people together to make informed decisions.

You will be curious, forward-thinking, and always aim to elevate your client’s work—even beyond expectations.

The Role: Account Manager

As the primary contact for your client accounts, you’ll be the trusted partner responsible for:

  • Guiding projects from concept to delivery, including branding, design, websites, marketing campaigns, and print.
  • Understanding your client’s objectives, creating clear creative briefs, and coordinating internal teams to deliver on their goals.
  • Leading projects strategically, driving long-term relationships built on exceptional service.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
