Role Description

The Client Account Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Manchester, responsible for managing client relationships throughout the project lifecycle. Day-to-day tasks include serving as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their event and décor requirements, and translating these needs into clear briefs for internal teams. The role involves coordinating timelines, budgets, and resources, monitoring project progress, and proactively resolving issues to ensure a smooth delivery.

The Client Account Manager will prepare proposals and quotes, track account performance, and identify opportunities to grow existing accounts. This role collaborates closely with design, production, and on-site teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to a high standard of client satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in account management or client services, ideally within events, design, or creative industries.
  • Strong skills in relationship building, stakeholder communication, and expectation management.
  • Proficiency in project coordination, including scheduling, budgeting, and tracking deliverables.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritise tasks, and work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfort using standard office and collaboration tools (e.g., CRM systems, project management software, spreadsheets, and presentation tools).
  • Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach to addressing client and project challenges.
  • Interest in events, design, and immersive experiences, with a willingness to collaborate with creative and production teams.
  • Availability to work on-site in Manchester and occasionally attend events or installations outside standard hours, as required.
  • Relevant education or training in business, marketing, events management, or a related field is beneficial but not mandatory.
