About the Role
Key Focus
Drive operational excellence as an Investment Associate, working within the Fixed Income Clearing Corporation (FICC) Team. You’ll oversee Client Account Services, supporting the end-to-end account lifecycle, from onboarding to post-trade management—including mergers, entity changes, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities
Your role blends operational execution with strategic oversight:
Client and Process Management
- Act as a primary point of contact for clients—advising on onboarding, mergers, and lifecycle events to meet risk and regulatory standards
- Handle documentation and system updates for complex transactions (e.g., mergers, account changes)
- Identify and escalate reactive risks (e.g., workflow bottlenecks, unfulfilled SLAs)
Workflow Leadership and Team Support
- Monitor and supervise client account workflows, prioritizing tasks based on urgency and client impact
- Supervise workflow/tools like DTCC’s CRM (Salesforce) and back-end systems
- Nominate functionally-supervised analysts and commit to quality feedback and process compliance
- Collaborate with Relationship Management, Risk, Legal, and Compliance to facilitate smooth client transitions
Data-Driven Action and Process Enhancement
- Analyze reporting data for operational insights, audits, and strategic decisions
- Drive process improvements for Client Account Services, including new product implementation and system modernisation
- Reps entropy risks and reduce inefficiencies preemptively
Team and Client Engagement
- Represent the FICC team in strategic projects, communicating business requirements
- Build strong internal partnerships (e.g., Risk, Engineering) and client relationships
- Advocate for continuous professional growth while addressing team/departmental priorities

Qualifications and Suitability
Minimum Requirements
- 4 years’ experience in account lifecycle, client services, or related operational roles, complementing a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)
- Technical proficiency in DTCC ecosystem tools (Salesforce, key back-end systems)
Preferred Attributes
- Experience in financial services, ideally fixed income/securities clearing
- Proven ability to minimise operational risks while adhering to protocols
- Agile problem-solving, stakeholder collaboration, and communication skills (written/orally)
- Self-starter with a curious mindset to solve complex challenges
